63rd WPGA Boys Championship

Please note the attached starting times and pairings.  

 

 

Format: 18 Holes of Stroke Play for the 11 to 13 year olds and the 14 and 15 year olds. 

                 9 Holes of Stroke Play for the 8 to 10 year olds.

 In the event of a tie, a hole by hole playoff will take place on holes to be determined by the Committee in each division.

 

Tee Markers:

14 & 15 Year Old Age Division – WHITE WPGA tee markers (Approximate Yardage 6,200)

11 to 13  Year Old Age Division – BLUE WPGA tee markers (Approximate Yardage 5,850)

  8 to 10  Year Old Age Division – BLUE WPGA tee markers (Approximate Yardage 2,900)   Nine holes
 

Practice:  Practice rounds can be scheduled by contacting the golf shop at 724-745-9889. Practice rounds are available at the discretion of the golf shop. Practice round fees are the responsibility of the player. 

 

Transportation: Players and caddies are required to walk for the championship.  Players may bring their own caddies if they choose.  Caddies must walk in performance of their duties.  A parent, stepparent, or guardian may not serve as a caddie.

 

Pace of Play: The maximum allowable time will be four hours and twenty minutes (4:20).

Play is governed by the USGA Rules of Golf. 

 

Evacuation Plan: In the event of a suspension of play for a dangerous situation, all players should return to the Clubhouse.

 

Footwear: METAL CLEATS ARE PROHIBITED--PENALTY IS DISQUALIFICATION.

 

Food: The WPGA provides lunch for players. All other food and beverage charges are the responsibility of the player. Lunch will be available by cash or credit card for those accompanying the players and caddies.

 

Lodging: Lodging of various price ranges can be found in the Canonsburg area.
