WGAWP Open Day
Oakmont Country Club, Oakmont, PA
Friday, April 26, 2024
Registration Deadline - Wednesday, April 10 - 5:00 PM

Entry into all "A" Open Days will be via the website ONLINE ENTRY SYSTEM. Open registration will begin on April 1, 2024 at 9:00 AM. One member of the group must submit the online entry form, which must include ALL entry form information by the designated DEADLINE date (5:00 pm). The application will be acknowledged by email. The Group will be notified of their tee time by email shortly after the DEADLINE date. A member may apply for only one "A" Open Day held on the same date, and duplicates may be disqualified at the discretion of the Executive Board.

Tee times will be available on the WGAWP website. Current Board members and past Presidents who submit timely entries are automatically included into the field. For events that are oversubscribed (number of entrants exceed the number of places in the field), the field is by random draw for the remainder of the registrants. Order of registration has no impact on the selection into the field.

Those players accepted for "A" Open Days are expected to play on the designated date. Any member accepted into the "A" Open Day field who does not play and does not have a replacement will be billed for lunch / cart / caddie. The member will not be held financially responsible IF she finds a replacement. The replacement must sign in on the day of play with her name and the name of the person she is replacing.

Any group unable to fulfill their commitment to an "A" Open day MUST notify the Open Day Chairman before 3:00 P.M. the preceeding day. Members will NOT be held financially responsible for mandatory charges IF the group can be replaced by a group on the waiting list. If there is no waiting list for that specific date, and no replacements can be found, members of the group WILL incur lunch / cart/ caddie charges.

The SLOW PLAY POLICY as defined under Tournament Rules point 3 may be in effect for selected “A” Open Days.  Members are notified upon registering that pace-of-play monitoring is in effect with the same procedures and potential impacts.

A one dollar tip for the host club's staff will be collected by the Delegate.

Online entries may be paid by Visa, Mastercard, or Discover.

Players can cancel without penalty up until the close of entry. Cancellations after the close of entry may result in full charges to the member unless they find a replacement. Circumstances that may allow for a refund would include a $25 cancellation fee per player. If a player finds a replacement, reimbursement is worked out between the players.

For team or partner events:

A player may list the members that they have invited to their group. Those players listed will receive an email allowing them to proceed with online payment.
